THE PAST

Florida Caribbean Distillers (FCD) was established in 1943 as the first registered distillery in Florida and began as a modest operation in the heart of the Florida’s sugar cane and citrus growing region. 

In 2010 Florida Caribbean Distillers was acquired by CC1 companies, and quickly grew to become the largest Rum producer in the continental US.  The company is also the nation’s largest supplier of OTSOW (other than standard orange wine) which is an ingredient used throughout the world in liqueurs and cordials. 

THE PRESENT & FUTURE

With facilities in Lake Alfred, Auburndale, Winter Haven and the Club Caribe LLC distillery in Puerto Rico allowing us the ability to have a production capacity to over 20 million gallons annually. 

Florida Caribbean Distillers is over 200 people strong in the Caribbean and the US and is proud to support indirect jobs in the state through our transportation and agribusiness partnerships. We are focused on building brands and economic opportunities, the company is continuously developing spirits and wine-based products for global distribution.
